Ali Şîr Nevâyî, who occupies an important position in improving Chagatai language and its literature has influenced the whole Turkish World widely because of the fact that he didn`t remain as a poet of only Middle-Asian- Chagatai - Literature. Besides being a proficient linguist and a poet, he has been both a politician and a strong national leader, which caused him to have a deep impact on both Turkish and Western poets emerging after him. He has defended Turkish language`s superiority by comparing Turkish to Persian in many cases. Putting forward national consciousness in his works has become a main concern for him. It is of the utmost importance that he has divan poems especially amongst the poetic style`s works of arts besides he has composed of a great number of different kinds of genres such as history, mesnevi, collection of biographies and prosody. It is "The Copy of Devâvin" in which there are four divans of him. The copy`s importance arises from the fact that it includes his different ghazels which never take place in any other distinct divans of him along with the ghazels chosen from these four divans. The Copy of Devâvin consists of 686 ghazels and 6 rubaies in total. In this study, firstly the ghazels and rubaies which are in the Copy of Devâvin have been transposed into transcription alphabet, and subsequently it has been apprised about some fundamental concepts mentioned in the ghazels by scoring technique. The study has been concluded after the ghazels mentioned above have also been scrutinised regarding style and content.
