Student opinions on developing the skill of talking into community with voice and dication lesson

The main purpose of this research is to examine the views of the students that are intended for developing the speech ability with voice and elocution in front of community. This research has been performed with phenomenological(phenomenology) pattern one of the qualitative survey approaches. The working group of this research has consisted of 35 2nd grade students who took lessons of voice and elocution from a state university's Turkish and Social Science Education Department Major Field of Study. On this research semi-structured meeting form has been used. The datas that are obtained by the researches has been evaluated with content analysis. At the end of the research; a hundred percent positive view intended for acquisition, ninety percent effective view intended for the relation with four main language skills, ninety three percent positive view for the desires of prospective working and receiving education, sixty three percent negative view intended for advices of practice, sixty seven percent negative view for getting lesson with distance education, thirty six positive view about the contribution of distance education to their development, hundred percent positive view for mass communication, ninety two percent positive view intended for developing the speech ability with voice and elocution in front of community have been determined.
