Abstract (EN)

At this work named by The Importance of Lullabies On Behalf Of Transferring Gender Roles Between To Generations, it is emphasized on lullabies identified as a feminine voice. The importance of the lullabies, especially sung by a mother or a father, on a child development aged from pre-birth to three is supported by various scientific researches. At that point, not only for the purpose of making a baby sleep, loving or calming it down, but it is also highlighted that the lullabies are also important for a woman's life. Because the lullabies are used to be communicated with a silent listener who will never respond or criticize, they give crucial tricks about the place and worth of a woman in the society. Within the context of this study, both selected lullabies are examined according to the reflection of gender roles to the culture and are classified under the titles of the lullabies for a baby girl, the lullabies for a baby boy and the lullabies for women. The lullabies are selected from the up-to-date books and evaluated with the method of meta-synthesis. Consequently, it is found that the transferring gender roles through lullabies is as a kind of reflection to the culture itself. Additionally, different cultures with different gender roles would be examined on behalf of lullabies and also the results would be compared with this study.
