Abstract (EN)
In this study, to determine phytse activity in soil isolates, the organisms belong to Bacillus spp. were isolated from Çukurova University campus. Phytase production of these strains were determined by production of clear zones around the colonies on the phytate containing media, after 24 hours incubation at 37ºC.The organisms called Bacillus sp.6 showed the best activity, so choosed for other studies. After portial purification of enzymes, phytase activities were determined at different temperature and pH values. Consequently the highest phytase activity of Bacillus sp.6 was obtained at 65ºC and pH 6. After SDS-PAGE, two bands with different molecular weights were seen.It was found that, the first one was 53 kda and the second band was 60 kda. Keywords: Bacillus sp., Phytase, Phytic acid
