The effects of different substrats and chemical and organic fertilizer applications on yield and quality in early cardinal grape grown in soilless culture

Abstract (EN)

In this research, Early Cardinal table grape variety was grown using 4 different substrates as Zeolite (Z), Cocopeat (K), Z+K (1:1 and 1:2, v:v) and 2 chemicals (Hoagland A (HA), Hoagland (H)) and an Organic liquid worm fertilizer (OSSG). In terms of shoot growth in the first year of the study, Z+K (1:1 and 1:2) mixing media and HA and H chemical fertilizers gave better results. In the second year, 1:1 and 1:2 Z + K mixture media gave the highest grape yield (38.4 and 38.9 tons ha-1, respectively) and the highest cluster weight values (291.0 g and 288.0 g, respectively). Among the nutrient solutions, the best result was obtained from grape fertilized with H, with a yield of 34.2 tons ha-1. Cluster weights were also higher in HA and H (260.3 g and 280.7 g, respectively) than OSSG (157.5 g). Values in all of the berry characteristics examined, such as berry weight and size, were found higher in HA and H nutrient solutions than OSSG. Nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K) in full bloom; in veraison, P and K concentrations were at a higher level in the cocopeat medium than other media. While the highest P values in veraison samples were obtained from the H solution, there was no difference in terms of N, K, calcium (Ca) and magnesium (Mg) elements. Manganese (Mn) in full bloom in organic fertilizer; In veraison, zinc (Zn) and Mn were higher. As a result, it was determined that Z+K (1:1 and 1:2) mixtures and HA and H solutions can be used successfully in soilless culture. However, in this study, since grape yield of 2.2 times the average of Turkey obtained from OSSG, and high values some elements in leaves, OSSG may be considered for Organic grape growing was concluded may be successfully used.
