Investigation of leadership skills of principals working in preschool education institutions in Trabzon

In this study, it is aimed to examine the level of effective leadership skills of principals working in preschool education institutions in Trabzon. Research was carried out on teachers working in independent kindergartens (except private kindergartens) in Trabzon Ortahisar district. During the study, 107 pre-school teachers were interviewed. As a result of the analysis of the data obtained, it was observed that the teachers who work in pre-school institutions have a high perception of effective leadership qualities. It has been determined that there is a positive, weak relationship between vision and being able to communicate, having a vision, having a vision, being reliable, taking a sample, and being a positive, weak and meaningful relationship. As a result of the statistical analysis, a positive, weak and meaningful relationship found between communicating with service time and sampling, and a positive, weak and meaningful relationship between having vision, being reliable and trusting, and taking samples. It was observed that teachers' perceptions of effective leadership qualities did not differ significantly from other demographic characteristics according to gender, education level, income level, and whether they have children.
