Abstract (EN)

This research was conducted in Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University, Faculty of Agriculture, Field Crops Department Research and Experimental Area in 2021-2022 cultivation period. In the research, 37 different genotypes from 7 different species (T. repens, T. nigrescens, T. constantinopolitanum, T. pratense, T. striatum, T. lappaceum and unidentified Trifolium L.) selected from the study carried out in 2020 within the scope of the project named 119O950 Taxonomy, Distribution, Phenological, Morphological and Some Chemical Properties of Trifolium (Trifolium L.-Fabaceae) Species in the Natural Flora of Thrace Region, were used as material. Genotypes were planted to 75x75cm in 3 m long plots prepared in factorial arrangement in different parts of the field, in randomized blocks experimental design; rooted planting of at least 5 plants of each species as was made on 04.08.2021. Irrigation was done after planting with the drip irrigation system. And continued with a 6-month period in April-September, when the plants needed it. According to the results of the research, in clover species; plant height, stem diameter, leaflet width, leaflet length, number of heads, fresh forage yield, dry forage yield were determined. When the plant height and fresh and dry forage yield data were evaluated, the highest plant height was determined 36,70 cm in the 44047 genotype, which was recorded as Trifolium L. and the shortest height was T. nigrescens Viv. in genotype 97/59, the highest fresh forage yield was 501,63 g in genotype 148/T-1 belonging to T. repens species, and the lowest in genotype 97/59 belonging to T. nigrescens with 4,00 g, the highest dry forage yield was in genotype 148/T-1 of T. repens species with 138,89 g and the lowest dry forage yield was in genotype 20H05 belonging to T. pratense species with 8,66 g respectively. According to the results of chemical analysis in genotypes of Trifolium species harvested at 50% flowering period; crude protein ratio was 10,47-23,69%, crude cellulose ratio was 20,60-31,48%, crude ash ratio was 5,89%-11,74, ADF was 26,22%-45,23%, NDF was 36,75-60,96%.
