Abstract (EN)

ABSTRACT DETERMINATION OF MORPHOLOGICALAND PHYTOCHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF CLUSTERS AND BERRIES OF PAPAZKARASI cv. (Vitis vinifera L.) COLLECTED FROM DIFFERENT TERROIRES IN THRACE REGION ACCORDING ON THEIR SIZE Bilge YAYLAK Department of Horticulture MSc. Thesis Supervisor: Prof.Dr. Elman BAHAR This research was carried out in 2021 in the vineyard belonging to "Tekirdağ Viticulture Research Institute" in Tekirdağ Süleymanpaşa District, Yavuz locality, in the vineyard of "Savaş ÇELİK" located in Tekirdağ Süleymanpaşa District Yağcı location, in Poyralı, Karadere and Köyaltı in Kırklareli Pınarhisar District. It was built in the vineyards of "Mustafa ÇAMLICA Danışmanlık Hizmetleri ve Tarım İşletmeleri Ltd. Şti." located in Istanbul and in the vineyards of "Hasan Ali ERKAN" located in Yeniköy, Uzunköprü District of Edirne. Ungrafted (on its own root) grape variety and grafted on 110R, 1103P, 140Ru, Kober 5BB and Rupestrisdu Lot vine rootstocks from different terriers were used. Purpose of the research; The aim of this study is to examine the effect of the morphological and phytochemical differences of the cluster and grain size effects taken from different terriers on the region. In the study, the clusters were divided into 5 groups, ≤100 g, 100-200 g, 200-250g, 250-400 g and >400 g, with precision scales and morphological measurements were made. After cluster grouping, sieves ≤10mm, 10-12mm, 12-14mm, 14-16mm, 16-18mm, ≥18mm were used to form 6 sizes and 1 control group. The control group was formed according to the size distribution of the total number of grains on the clusters. As a result; Samples taken from Tekirdağ, Kırklareli and Edirne provinces showed similarity, giving high values in secondary metabolites in the 200-250 g cluster group and ≤10 mm, 10-12mm grain size group.
