Synthesis of some trans-Dehydroepiandrosterone Derivatives

Synthesis of Some trans-Dehydroepiandrosterone Derivatives Steroit derivatives have various pharmacological activities, especially with different substituents on the D-ring. Androsterone derivatives are potent anti-cancer properties with stereodial class compounds. ,β-unsaturated enones were obtained from the Aldol Condensation reaction of trans-dehydroepiandrosterone with different aromatic aldehydes. These compounds were converted to their O-acyl derivatives. The new α, β-unsaturated enone structure was obtained on the A ring of stereoid with Oppenauer oxidation reaction.
