Abstract (EN)

This study examines the impact of the TRT Arabi channel on the perception of Turkey's country image and country personality among the Moroccan public. The research analyzes how perceptions of Turkey are shaped by using the Four-Dimensional Country Image Model and the Four-Dimensional Country Personality Scale. The study was conducted within the framework of a cross-sectional research design, and individuals residing in seven different cities across Morocco were selected as the sample. The findings reveal that TRT Arabi has a positive influence on certain aspects of Turkey's country image and personality. It was determined that the perception of Turkey is shaped by factors such as satisfaction with media content, linguistic familiarity, and cultural awareness. However, some participants also emphasized the influence of other media sources in shaping their perception of Turkey's image. The results support the decisive role of international media in shaping a country's image and demonstrate that public diplomacy strategies can be strengthened through effective media policies. The findings provide significant insights for evaluating Turkey's public diplomacy efforts in Morocco and for developing future communication strategies.
