Abstract (EN)
In our study, explanations were made about the personal data shared by consumers through distance contracts and the factors that the data controller should pay attention to in the processing, protection and transfer of these data. It has been tried to evaluate the rights of the consumer regarding the protection of personal data shared through distance contracts. Finally, the termination of distance contracts and the status of personal data in these cases are mentioned and the electronic message management system is explained. The aim of our study is to clarify the personal data obtained in the distance sales contracts, which are increasing as a result of the developing technology day by day. In addition we aim to evaluate the rights of the consumer and the obligations of the data controller within the scope of current legislation and Board decisions.
