Abstract (EN)
In this study, calculation of population density of Lyciasalamandra atifi in Türbelinaz (Alanya), establishing the threat factors towards population and stating strategies for conservation are aimed. Individuals of Lyciasalamandra atifi population in Türbelinaz(Alanya) were captured at different days. Counts of individuals that were seen for the first time and that were marked before were used to calculate population density. Türbelinaz is a highland that is 35 km far from the center of Alanya town. Natural marking were used in the existing population of Türbelinaz highland. Research area's coordinates were taken. Coordinates were flagged with ''Google Earth'' and the working area were measured. Data was used to calculate population density. Population density was compared with the similar species in order to detect population status. Population density of species that were captured from Türbelinaz (Alanya) estimated 8 individual/ha. Decreasing population trend was appeared with respect to the population of Lyciasalamandra luschani in Meis Island which has density that is 10000/ha.
