Abstract (EN)

In this study, I examined A ?Level Basketball Referees? body composition and reaction time values for the purpose of revealing their physical and physiological features who serve in Turkish Basketball League in 2008-2009 season. In my study, 35 active basketball referees participated voluntarily with the average age of 33.28, average length of 183,40cm and average weight of 84.46 kg. To measure the height of participants a sensitive of 1 mm Martin type anthropometer and to measure the body weight and body composition bio-impedance device was used. Referees? visual, auditory and visual-auditory simultaneous reaction time measurements were done trought New Test reaction device. Using relevant functions of SPSS 15,0 program was used to obtain descriptive data statistics. At the end of the measurements of the referees? body composition it was concluded that most of the referees were over weight and had high body fat. At the end of the statistical analysis it is found that there is no a significant difference (p<0.05).
