The obligations of the lessor under the Turkish Code of Obligations and the consequences of contraction in the dept

A lease agreement is one of those contracts that impose debt on both sides. The main debt of the lessor in the lease agreement is to deliver the leased to the tenant in a suitable way for use and keep it in this way during the contract period. However, some deficiencies and disruptions that occur during the use of the leased person may constitute an obstacle to the use of the tenant and this situation may disrupt the balance of actions between the tenant and the lessor against the tenant. The legislator, aiming to protect the tenant who is in a weak position in the lease contract relationship, has regulated in detail the debts of the lessor. In this respect the debts of the lessor are important in terms of the lease agreement. In the Turkish Code of Obligations numbered 6098, the debts of the lessor, the delivery debt of the leased person, the liability of bearing taxes and similar obligations, the liability of bearing side expenses, the lessor's liability arising from defects, the liability of the third party due to the rights asserted are regulated under the headings.
