Stylistyics approach to historical novels of Hüseyin Nihal Atsız on text analysis in subject of Turkish literature and language

Literature is the specific kind of art in which the special and literally the best examples of using the ability of language are seen. Students and readers need text analyzing activities to understand and comprehend a literary text and to get the necessary skills in this field. It is necessary to use all the methods of stylistics to contribute these activities.In this research, by getting help from the methods of stylistics, we determine some procedures over how an approach based on texts should be in a literature lesson.In this study, some methods and definitions related to linguistics, stylistics and semiology are mentioned and some information about the researchers studying in this area is presented. Later, the contribution of the literary text on teaching literature and its relation with it is emphasized. By this way, information about the variety of literary texts is told and some criteria are detected about analyzing texts in terms of reading and understanding.With the help of the findings gained, Hüseyin Nihal Atsiz, who has an important effect on our literature and some of whose text form the historical novels which can be studied in course books were chosen to be interpreted in a stylistics way.Finally, some advices to improve teaching methods of literature and stylistics studies are presented by making an overall evaluation.
