Abstract (EN)

Socialist Realistic Art and Literature Theory, one of the important art and literature theories of the 20th century, has been an art/literature understanding that has attracted the attention of artists and researchers since its emergence. Socialist Realism, which has its roots in the development of social, economic, political, scientific and artistic events that took place since the second half of the 19th century, is an art/literature theory that has continued its influence and existence since the 1930s. Marxist socalism "state" as the first example of the Soviet Union's official art theory, this art/literary theory, that the Soviet Union's closest neighbors has greatly influenced the art and literature of the Republic of Turkey. In this thesis, the responses of this effect in the 1930-1960 period are aimed to be shown through the relevant authors and novels. Structure, theme, expression elements, etc. elements; Socialist Realism has been tried to be evaluated by considering the social and ideological infrastructure. The contributions of this theory, which some of the authors of Turkish literature and novel, considired to be "great", have also been examined, to the "greatness" of these authors. This study, which deals with the first thirty years of development of the Socialist Realistic Turkish Novel, will also draw attention to the ways that the Socialist Realistic Turkish Novel has opened for its later development.
