Abstract (EN)

This research was carried out on male handball players who played in Turkish National Senior Handball Players using anaerobic energy system, in order to analize the relationship between Peak Anaerobic Power- Capacity, body composition and heart rate, and also compare with nontrained PES students. At this research 22 national male handball players were measured who were involved in training 5-29 years ( mean 15,50 + 6,16) and aged between 18-38 ( mean 27,22 + 5,45). After Wingate Anaerobic Bike Test, the mean of ANP was 11,51 + 1,32 W/kg, ANC was 6,54 + ,48 W/kg, percent of body fat was % 12,47 + 2,19, the mean of heart rate was 146,17 ± 7,30 and the mean of maximal heart rate was 163,54 ± 5,85. As the control group 22 non regular trained PES students aged between 18-26 (mean 21,54 ± 2,06) studying at The School of Physical Education and Sport were measured. After Wingate Anaerobic Bike Test of main research, the mean of ANP was 12,31 + 1,84 W/kg, ANC was 6,36 + ,42 W/kg, percent of body fat was % 11,50 + 3,06, the mean of heart rate was 168,93 ± 8,76 and the mean of maximal heart rate was 180,50 ± 8,52. As a result of bivariate correlation analysis, in the middle level, pozitive and significant differences were found in the relationship between ANC and the mean of heart rate ( r = ,52, p<.05), also in the middle level, pozitive but nonsignificant differences were found in the relationship between ANP and the mean of maximal heart rate ( r = ,38, p>05) and again in the middle level, negative but nonsignificant differences were found in the relationship between ANP and the percent of body fat ( r = -,40, p>05) in national players. The difference in means of heart rate between the groups (t(42)=9.35, p<.05), the difference in means of maximal heart rate between the groups (t(42)=7,82, p<.05) were found statistically significant, The difference between the results of six measurements made from the first 5 seconds till 25-30 seconds was found significant,F(5,210)=189,52,p<.01 for the anaerobic capacity of groups. ANC values were higher at these measurements in national handbal players. The difference between the results of six measurements made from the first 5seconds till 25-30 seconds was found significant,F(5,210)=301,17 ,p<.01 for the heart rates of groups. The changes of heart rates related with time in national players were significantly different than the PES students. F(5,210)=10.44,p<.01. Besides the differences betwwen the groups in the measurements of every period were significant and the heart rate of PES students was higher. Key Words: Wingate, Anaerobic Power - Capacity, Body Composition, Heart Rate, Team Handball.
