Abstract (EN)

The Turkish Folklore Research Magazine, which has become a cultural memory and source in the field of Turkish folk folklore, started its publication life by İhsan Hınçer in 1949. The journal was published in 366 issues between 1949-1980. Turkish Folklore Research Magazine, has been closely interested in every field of folklore, that is, folklore, as its name suggests. The magazine closely follows folklore events in the country and in the world, and is an important resource that includes various topics such as folk literature products collected from various regions in our country, local celebrations, introduction of our minstrels and poets, and study writings in the field of folklore. This study consists of introduction and three parts. In the introduction, information about the Turkish Folklore Research Magazine, the purpose of the magazine, its content and the life of İhsan Hınçer are given after the subjects such as magazine publishing, folklore term, Turkish folklore magazines in our country. In the first chapter, the concept of fairy tales, general information about fairy tales, fairy tale classifications, changing of fairy tales and variants are given. In the second part, the type numbers, motif sequences of the tales in the EB and AaTh catalogs and the variants identified in other studies are included. In the third part, the formal elements of the tales in the magazine are included. In the conclusion part, the findings obtained by examining the fairy tales in the journal are included.
