Abstract (EN)
On one hand the rapid development of technology enables our lives to be easier on the other hand it makes difficult to clarify the crimes committed and to reach those responsible. The state which wants to protect the sense of justice in the society is obliged to both take measures to prevent the crime and to disclose crimes by using appropriate methods. One of these methods is communication control through telecommunication. Control of communication through telecommunication in criminal procedure law is a hidden protection measure. This measure, which was first enacted with the law on prevention of benefit-oriented criminal organizations no. 4222 for the first time, only applied to the field of organized crime during validity period. With the going in effect criminal procedure law no.5271, the measure of communication control has been included in the general regulation.
