Lehrbuchanalyse 'Hallo, Freunde!-6' im bereich Deutsch als zweite fremdsprache an den Türkischen primarschulen (Am beispiel der lehrenden und des curriculums)

IV ABSTRACT TEXT BOOK ANALYSIS "HALLO, FREUNDE!-6" IN THE FRAMEWORK OF GERMAN AS A SECOND FOREIGN LANGUAGE AT TURKISH PRIMARY SCHOOLS. (IN TERMS OF THE TEACHERS AND THE CURRICULUM) The world is becoming smaller thanks to new communication and information technology and we can already foresee how these developments will influence and change the supply as well as the learning of foreign languages. The above has also become valid for Turkey, where a new foreign language program for the learning of a second foreign language (German) has been introduced. As the text book is an important element in the implementation of a didactic program, this paper will concern itself with recording the first set of information regarding the text book for German as a second foreign language "Hallo, Freunde!-6". Being the first published text book for teaching German as a second foreign language in Turkey, we would like to find out in the course of this study to what extent this text book is able to achieve the targets set by the Turkish Ministry of Education and fulfill the criteria put forward by Nürnberg Recommendations Catalog.
