Abstract (EN)

Feminine figures play an important role in the shaping of myths, which constitute the basic building blocks of Turkish cultural memory, from the oral period to the written period. Archetypes are maps of the implicit memory of humanity. The carriers of archetypes are symbols and figures that have the function of revealing and keeping alive both individual and social memory in the past and present. Therefore, it is not possible for any sociocultural and sociopsychological reading of literature, art, politics and similar disciplines to be independent of archetypes and myths. Based on the assumption that the first period of every sociological structure that has ever existed in the universe was matriarchal, it would not be difficult to say that feminine figures are the founding elements of social memory. Especially in Turkish culture, it can be said that the matriarchal influence is more long-lasting compared to Western culture. Re-understanding the feminine figures that stand out as founding, compiling and collecting elements in our mythology, which is the foundation of our culture, and examining the vivid reflections of these figures that extend to the present day through archetypal analysis will contribute to making the dynamic power of Turkish cultural memory visible and known.
