Abstract (EN)
After the end of the Cold War, the Black Sea has become an area of importance for global and regional actors. In the shadow of lived political tensions and conflicts, it was given importance to creating an atmosphere of security and cooperation of get together by states against the developments that could lead to instability. The breaks of encountered of as a results of the war of between Russia and Georgia and the crisis of between Russia and Ukraine has revealed the possibility of conflict between states. This case has led to the need for greater emphasis on cooperation opportunities in preventing uncertainty about the peace, security and stability of the Black Sea. The relationships between Turkey and Russia which are one of the important actors in the Black Sea affected by the developments in the basin although it has been given importance to develop cooperation by acting together in political and economic fields since the 2000s. In this study were examined in the light of developments in the Black Sea Basin with its effects on Turkey and Russia's security relations. It has been proposed that basin security can be obtained by keeping in forefront the absolute gains in relations of Turkey and Russia against the growing instability in the basin. This situation is thought that it could be enable evaluation of cooperation opportunities for in the relationships between both Turkey and Russia.
