The issues of the local newspaper Türk Sözü, published between 1934 and 1938, provide detailed accounts of criminal incidents in Adana. The newspaper specifically lists the types of crimes committed, along with the perpetrators and victims. The types of crimes encountered in Adana province are diverse. Many types of crimes are committed in the region, and the crime rates are observed to be quite high.
