Investigation of gold savings in Turkey terms of financial system

When it comes to the financial system in Turkey, the banking sector comes to mind first. This is because the financial system is largely composed of the banking sector. For this reason, the inclusion and recording of gold savings in the financial system in Turkey is only possible through the banking sector's support for gold banking activities and the implementation of these activities. In Turkey, valuable studies have been conducted on gold banking, which was initiated under the leadership of Istanbul Gold Refinery Inc. and attracted attention due to its potential. As a result of these operations, some amount of gold has been brought into the economy, albeit limited. The fact that the amount of gold estimated to be in their homes is of a value that will contribute to Turkey's economic welfare has led to the necessity of registering more gold with the implementation of new studies. The fact that its supply is limited, that it does not disappear, that it can maintain its value under all conditions, that it does not corrode and that it is seen as a "Secure investment" for investors all over the world, it is expected that this precious metal will be taken out from their homes and utilized through gold banking, supporting growth in the economy and providing additional income for savers. In this study, new proposals for bringing gold into the economy are presented. The fact that the main objective is to access the gold used as jewelry and that gold used as jewelry is estimated to be mostly owned by women has guided the preparation of the recommendations. The fact that people's needs and expectations are different from each other and that it is not possible to reach everyone with a single project requires taking into account age, gender, income and regional differences.
