TEACHER OPINIONS ON PIANO ACCOMPANIED STUDIES IN TURKISH ANATOLIAN HIGH SCHOOL OF FINE ARTS (STRNGS) INDIVIDUAL ISTRUMENT EDUCATION LESSON (Thesis For Master?s Degree) Sonat COSKUNER GAZI UNIVERSTY EDUCATION FACULT MUSC EDUCATION DEPARTMENT Ankara 2007 ABSTRACT This study is carried out in order to underline the possitive effects of piano accompanied studies? on the student; to elicit the definiencies in the program and to see to what extend and in what kind of conditions piano accompanied studies in Turkish Anatolian High School of Fine Arts (strings) are realised. The study is a descriptive work, buttomed on the basic field research. The qualitative findings are archived via the survey method. The quantitative findings are statistically analyzed and findings are commented trought tabling. The importance of accompanied studies is notably underlined by all the teachers who participated in the assesment according to the archived findings and required solution suggestions for the definiencies of this subject are presented.
