Abstract (EN)

In this study karyotypes, sex-determining mechanism and meiotic division characteristics of Callilepis cretica, Drassyllus pumilus, Zelotes strandi, Nomisia anatolica, Pterotricha lentiginosa, Haplodrassus morosus, Haplodrassus dalmatensis belonging to Gnaphosidae family and Alopecosa pulverulenta, Arctosa cinerea, Pardosa bifasciata Lycosidae family were studied for the first time. Chromosome analyses were carried out according to the spreading methods. As a result, it was determined that the diploid chromosome number of species belonging to Gnaphosidae and Lycosidae families is 2n (?) = 22 and 28, respectively. Except P. lentiginosa; sex-determining mechanism of all the other species is X1X2 ?/ X1X1X2X2 ? and chromosome morphology is acrocentric. Karyotype of P. lentiginosa included 1 M: 21 A (?) and sex-determining mechanism is XXXY. Metacentric and Y chromosome was determined for the first time by this study, in the group of entelegynae spiders. Chiasmatic meiosis were determined for all species according to chiasma formation. Chiasma frequency at diplotene stage is C. cretica: 1,026, D. pumilus: 1,014, Z. strandi: 1,015, N. anatolica: 1,021, H. dalmatensis: 1,008, H. morosus: 1,021, P. lentiginosa: 1,024, A. pulverulenta: 1,021, A. cinerea: 1,021 ve P. bifasciata: 1,019.Key Words: cytogenetic, meiosis, chromosome, Gnaphosidae, Lycosidae
