Abstract (EN)

This study ; aims to analyze and model determinants of money flows directed to long-therm pension funds in the private pension system in turkey, also aims to monitor the impact of fund perfomance and cost in the flow of money to fund. The determinants of money flows to Turkey Private Pension Funds has not been extensively studied and any model has been able to found in the literature for Turkey Private Pension Funds Our study is based on model that has been prepapared and focused on determinants of equity pension plan flow for Spanish Pension Fund Market that has been presented at the Annual European Conferance of the Financial Management Association International (FMA),İstanbul,Turkey (Ballester,2014).Datas for the model were collected from Capital Markets Board of Turkey , Rasyonet database and Takasbank website.Using Panel data and E-views 7 program,we used different approaches to estimate the model with fixed effect and random effects method and statistical results of appropriate method were shared. We hope that this study will be useful for funds and sector managers,private pension system companies determining the strategies in terms of modelling investors behaviors and examining effect of the performance and cost to flow of money in the Turkey private pension system that was supported by Turkish Goverment.
