Environmental problems and solutions in Turkey: The case of Kütahya

It has started to cause problems at the international level in the definition of environment. Population, industrialization, misuse, abuse, deteriorating and reducing environmental pollution. The environment deals with the biological, physical and structural conditions that include water, soil, air and natural resources in mutual interaction in which people and all other living things lead their lives. However, although the environment has been defined in different ways by many researchers, the aim of the studies in the environmental literature is to protect human health and ensure that they live in a safe environment. The economy of the city of Kütahya consists largely of industry, agriculture and service sectors. Environmental pollution experienced in the Kütahya region, especially air pollution, water and soil pollution caused by pesticides and wastes, noise pollution caused by motor vehicles, deforestation due to the destruction of the natural environment are the main environmental problems in the city. This study consists of three parts. In the first part, an overall assessment of the concepts of environment and ecology was made. The second chapter discusse the general environmental problems and the activities for the solution in Turkey. In the third part, the results of the Environmental Sensitivity Survey study of the people in Kutahya were evaluated. Keywords: Environment, Environmental Science, Environmental Problems.
