Studies and measures taken to bring juvenile offenders into society in Turkey

Children play an important role in shaping the future of each community. When we examined the factors that led them to criminal behavior, a lack of social control that brought the increasing population, irregular family structures, rural-urban migration frustrations that arise as a result of an identity crisis and experienced economic deprivations wrong with pushing children to the street life, taking place within a group of friends, and we are faced with substance abuse. These negative conditions have brought together two contrasting concepts, child and crime. What kind of work takes place and what kind of measures are taken for the integration of juvenile offenders into society after the evacuation process in Turkey is the starting point of the study. After the end of the detention process, there are deficiencies in the supervision and follow-up necessary to prevent the child being dragged into the crime from returning to the environment and conditions that led him to the crime. Reintegration of the child, relevant government agencies, NGOs and voluntary organizations by increasing the number of efforts should be made to achieve effective results. Social and psychological support will prevent the child from re-engaging in criminal behavior, but will also facilitate the process of adaptation to society. At this point, everyone who has responsibility for the child from the moment he committed the crime to the eviction process should approach this consciousness, the fact that the child is included in a justice system in a way that is not intended to punish him or her will cause him or her the least harm will ensure that he or she will be integrated into society as soon as possible.
