Abstract (EN)
This study aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis of master's and doctoral theses written on Turkey's single-party periods. Focusing on the Republican People's Party (RPP), Democrat Party (DP), Justice Party (JP), Motherland Party (MP), and the Justice and Development Party (JDP), the theses are analyzed based on variables such as publication year, universities, academic departments, advisors, author gender, research topics, and methods. Using the open-access theses available on the National Thesis Center of the Turkish Council of Higher Education (YÖK), the data are evaluated through content analysis. The findings reveal historical shifts in academic interest in Turkey's political history while shedding light on methodological diversity and institutional contributions. This study serves as both a comprehensive source and a strategic guide for researchers in the field.
