Money policy implementation in Turkey during economical crisis periods: Crisis in year 2001 and global crisis in 2008

In this study the main frame of monetary policies, the importance of them ,theadvantages and disadvantages of monetary strategies ,tools and aims of monetarypolicies was analyzed. Besides that; the goals and strategy of preferred monetarypolicies during a historical duration in Turkey ,the development and alteration of thestrategical tools to reach the goals and the motivation of this alteration process ,theeffects of implemented monetary policies since 1980 to the macro economical factorswas evaluated . The study consists of three chapters.The introduction and conceptual analysis of economical crisis ,types andmodelling of crisis was explained at the first chapter.At the second chapter ,the definition,aims and means of monetary policy wasanalyzed in the frame of the implemented monetary policies during economical crisesin Turkey and economical approaches.At the third chapter monetary policy implementations was discussed startingthe period before 1980 in comparison with the years 2001-2008 in the frame ofquantitative data.The goal of this study is to determine a policy to prevent from economicalcrises,in the frame of the 2001-2008 economical crisis ,by examining why the suchcrisis repeating frequently ,the faults made the precautions and preventions aftercrisis ,the harmful influences of the crisis to the in the country.Keywords : Global Economy, monetary policy instruments, economic crisis, economicapproaches.
