Abstract (EN)
Nowadays, social place and the importance of football has become beyond arguable. Although football is a competition game in its essence, neither the players nor the viewers nor the rulers never see it as a simple game or sport, and that has given football a rise to always be in a different social status in the current life and created the football industry in itself. The main purpose of this competition of soccer teams in this industry is to maximize success. Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) Methods have been developed for solving decision making problems where success is dependent on many criteria. In this study, by using one of the MCDM methods, TOPSIS Method, success ranking of the contestant teams in the Super League in Turkey was estimated between years(seasons) 2010: 2-2017:1. In this study, where success does not depend on a single criterion, the results of Equal Weight, Entropy, CRITIC and Standard Deviation Methods and Statistical Variance Procedure methods were compared. Keywords: Football, multi criteria decision making, TOPSIS, weight methods
