Abstract (EN)

Increasing demand of energy by improving life conditions, growing population and increasing technology results in increasing pollution in Turkey same as in world. Air pollution which is important branch of this pollution, reaches to critical values with current consumption load.Various pollutants are emitted to the atmosphere as a result of combustion which is the major source of air pollution. The meteorological datum has important effects on various situations of this pollutants in atmosphere. Many non-environmental factors that belongs to human life, effects to air pollution directly or indirectly. In this study, the concentration of mainly air pollutants SO2 and PM analyzed with various non-environmental datum which effect as indicator and/or catalyzer. The current air pollution datum associated with the comsumption that causes pollution and also the demand that creates this comsumption. As a result of this study, it was observed that fossil fuel consumption for domestic heating, primarily the fuel that has higher sulfur content ratio, causes negative effect on the increase of air pollution?s degree.
