Abstract (EN)
The People?s Houses which are depended on Republic Folk Party foundedinstead of Turkish Houses. The People?s Houses opened branch offices in the centers ofprovince and district and they opened folk rooms in rural areas. The People?s houses areinstitutions which were acting according to the folk party principles. These institutionswouldhave planned as they would gather, combine and introduce the people who had party or not.The community thak understands and love, one another, depended on nationalideal would be formed. National conscious formed in this community. They would alsoassıstance the valve of Turkish Revolution to protect, spread and assimilate by Turkishpublic.They acted under the control of Republic Folk Party and financial reosurceswere supported by state budget or fund which was transferred by Folk Party.The People?s Houses which were founded in 1932 were seemed as branchoffices of Folk Party and closed by ruling Democrat Party in 1950. When they were closed,there were 478 People?s Houses and 4322 People?s Rooms.Key words. The People?s Houses, Elaziğ People?s House.
