Abstract (EN)
Women's participation in the labor force in Turkey is not only an individual issue but also a societal one. The relevant study addresses women's participation in employment and the impact of policies aimed at increasing this participation. Women's labor force participation and the aforementioned policies are evaluated within the framework of gender equality. When policies aimed at enhancing women's employment are examined through the lens of gender equality, it becomes evident that female employment remains inadequate and detached from a gender equality-oriented approach. Women's participation in the labor market in Turkey should be addressed as a gender-based issue. In this context, employment policies should be restructured through an approach that prioritizes gender equality. It is anticipated that ensuring gender equality will make a significant difference in increasing women's employment.
