Problems and solues of the marble sector in Turkey

VI ABSTRACT It is very necessary for our courtry to use its sources profitably in order to be successtul against the developing technolegy and increasing rivalry. When looking at the developed countries past, it is possible to see that they succeeded it and that the minig sector has the most share of the word trade. The marble sector which has an important place in these natural sources hasn't been able to get its deserved rank in the word trade because of the still un soluablle problems. It is unavoirdable to solve these problems and increase the production speed immediately. From the viewpoint of Turkey's national economy, to compete with the countries which have the power in marble sector, depends on using modern exploiting methods, production of good quality and establishing a new construction by improwing marketig possibilities. In this work, the recant position of the marble sector is examined and by researching the marble qarries, reserves, production technology and production amount and by comparing results got from with the consumption, and expord datas.was researehed it this production was sufficient ornot with these results and after the made researches, the problems the sector has wore fixed, with this aim, examinations were made where the sector is dense, and by giving and taking information from the organizations and making a litarature research, has been tried to put forward some solution suggestions to these problems.
