Abstract (EN)

The main aim of this thesis; to be determined of matters, all of which educators of bağlama who work at music education departments of education faculties of universities in Turkey, has to face up to. Besides that we tried showing the importance of bağlama education and also wanted to determine if bağlama lessons are being taken up sufficiently- like other lessons-. We tried submitting the analysis of these aims by that survey. These educators, we mentioned before, have formed the basis of our research group. There were forty educators at first but thirty of them have taken care of this survey and given answers to our questions. This research which were done by observing the teachers has showed us the problems which educators has to face up to and their thoughts about these difficulties. Unfortunately we couldn't compare the results of that survey with others. Because this was first. As a result it has been found that bağlama education is important but it hasn't been considered important enough. These lessons aren't being given to the students sufficiently because according to the terms and the number of students bağlama lessons has less time than others. In order to give a direction to bağlama education-from nationalism to universality-musicians (educators) must be in charge of composing and studying on authantic one's. They also has to develop their researches about polyphonic music. In order to make Turkish Folk Music become widespread at secondary school we understood and accepted that bağlama education at the level of bachelor's degree is very important and necessary. vn
