Abstract (EN)
This study comprises the identification, description and geographical distribution as well as certain morphological, palinological, cytological and moleculer properties of the species belonging to the genus Oxytropis in Turkey. Oxytropis represented by 13 taxa according to Flora of Turkey, it is evaluated under 11 taxa as a result of this study. O.engizekensis Duman et Vural is reduced to the synonym of O. persica Boiss.; O. fominii Grossh. was reduced to synonym of O. argyroleuca Bornm. Red list categories of species of Oxytropis are revised according to IUCN Red List Categories. Red list categories of the O .pallasii and O. pilosa which are given DD in Red Data Book of Turkish Plants collected and given new threatment categories after this study. Some phytogeographical areas were suggested for O. pallasii, O. pilosa, O. albana and O. lazica.
