In turkey, training of school administrators, assignment system and applications opinions related

The aim of this study was to evaluate the school administrator training and assignment system in Turkey and put forward suggestions in this regard. The research is in qualitative screening model and was designed with a phenomenological approach. It consists of 40 people, including teachers, education managers and education management experts in study group . In the research, semi-structured interview form developed by the researcher as a data collection tool was applied by interview and the data collected were assessed to content analysis. According to the results of the research, it is obvious that there is not a proper system for training school administrator which is a significant deficiency as a country in Turkey.It is appropriate to choose school administrators among teachers, nevertheless it is still essential to create a new system administrator training in the level of post graduate education. It is seen that the current system of the school administrator appointment system in our country is inefficient, the written exam and interview do not evaluate the professional competence in managing, and it is not efficient in determining the qualification and ability of administrator. The interview should be done fairly by competent and independent commissions for the avoidance of doubt. It is highlighted that the administrator training and appointment system is determined according to holistic perspective and creating a fair and an impartial administrator appointment system is recommended by applying objective criterion. It is stated that objective and quantifiable performance criteria should be decisive during the reassignment and rotation process, and also professional assurance should be provided by improving the legal status and personal rights of school administrators.
