Abstract (EN)

In this study, the potential amount of each renewable energy source on a provincial basis in Turkey was tried to be determined by means of the Energy Atlas data of the Ministry of Energy and a map of Turkey's energy potentials was created for each energy type. In the light of January 2021 energy consumption data of the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA), energy resistance was calculated for each energy type against these potentials. The Turkish Energy Resilience Index (EDE), a new and unique index, was created with the correlation between the lower and upper limits of the calculated resistivities and scored between 1-7 according to the cities. The study will reveal the extent to which the existing energy dynamics of the country can be affected by a negative condition or the renewable energy resources with global warming, seasonal changes, and the possibilities of survival in the face of these changes. The impulse to spread in population and industry is seen from the results of the study with a rate of 64%. Cities in Turkey have a resilience index between 1 and 3 with energy resistance, while only 3.7% of cities are at level 7 of the EDE. As a result of the integration problems encountered in Turkey, according to the current share of renewable energy variables, the level of dependence on renewable energy and resilience factor ranks second throughout the country.
