Abstract (EN)

Yaka Turkmens, who exist in Turkmenistan, Iran, Afghanistan and other Turkic Republics in Central Asia, are in contact with different peoples due to the wide geography they live in. As a result of these contacts, words borrowed from many foreign languages, especially Arabic, Persian, Mongolian and Russian, have become established in various dialects of Turkmen. This thesis aims to analyze the borrowings in Turkmen dialects. Within the scope of the analysis, the semantic origins of the words, their transmission channels and their phonetic evolution within the dialect will be analyzed. The data collected from the dialects of the main Turkmen tribes such as Teke, Ersarı, Yomut, Sarık, Salır and Göklen by Turkmens were obtained from written compilation dictionaries. The results show that the loanwords in Turkmen dialects carry not only stylistic but also various cultural traces. The aim of the study is to analyze Turkmen dialectal data at the etymological level based on the historical and philological approach to the classification of loanwords.
