Abstract (EN)

In this study, it is aimed that gas classification and determination of the degree of intensity in gas with the consideration of moisture in the environment. SAW sensor arrays are used as a chemical gas sensor in this experiment. In the first phase of study, under various humidity rates, the sensors that will be used in the study are detected by examining the sensor data obtained from sensors. After pre-processing the data, the data from these sensors is tried to classify and make quantity determinations by the help of artificial neural networks (ANN) using only the stable state answers of the sensors. In the second phase of study, because of the stable state answers of the sensors are almost in a linear situation,to minimize the sensor noises, it is implemented as a first degree polynomial approach and again it is tried to classify and make quantity determinations by the help of ANN. In the third phase of study,by the help of the first degree functions from previously obtained, the response data is replicated to be better the education and estimation success of ANNS, using limited number of the stable state answers of the sensors. ANNS applications are made with this data. The results obtained have shown that this approach can be used to determine gas and quantity, considiring moisture in the environment. In the last stage, the sensors that is chosen by doing PCA applications are tried to show eligible for seperation of the applied gases.
