Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to investigate the impact of air transport on the macroeconomics of the G7 countries. The main reason for choosing the G7 countries is the level of economic development of both sides, in fact, they are the countries with the most airlines in recent years. In today's life, people travel to the country where they live or to any part of the world. It has become a very natural process. It is planned for business and leisure trips. Everyone wants to reach that place as soon as possible. When it is transported in a short time, it is the first mode of transportation that comes to mind when air transportation is mentioned. In this preference of people who prefer to travel by air, comfort and safety work well as well as speed. In the competitive environment we are in, airlines must add new attractive factors to these factors in order to gain an edge over their competitors. The aviation industry is one of the important branches of the service industry. However, it has significance at both the national and international level. Air travel was once viewed as a luxury item and was preferred by relatively few people due to its high cost. With the decrease in air ticket prices in recent years, the demand for air transportation has increased significantly. With the new regulations regarding air transportation, the number of companies providing services has also increased. Causality Testing Between Number of Flights and National Income per Capita; In our study on the Case of the G7 Countries, the macroeconomic impact of air transport in the selected G7 countries during the 1970-2020 period was examined. The significance of these countries is that they have had the largest number of cruise ships in recent years. It has been observed that these countries have an important share in the world economy.
