Abstract (EN)
This cross-cultural study examines the possible similarities between the environmental perceptions of different sociocultural groups within the framework of environmental psychology. Different environmental stimuli, which are predicted to support creative productivity, were examined with a comparative survey in an intentionally designed office environment that was created as a part of this study. The questionnaire was prepared in Turkish and German and repeated in both countries. The obtained results were compared with each other and the similarities between the environmental perceptions of two groups were determined. The results of the study show that there may be similarities in people's environmental perceptions despite their cultural differences, and these similarities can be targeted by spatial designers to consciously create a built environment to psychologically support an international user group to do a specific task.
