Financial effects of international economic fluctuations on firm level: An analysis on media sector

Determnants of economical crisis has always attracted economists. Especially determinants led by financial structure has been considered significant to understand crisis. There exists, inter alia, burden of economic costs resulted from financial crisis challenged among reasons.At macro level, negative effects on macroeconomic indicators has been experienced with the start of crisis. Within this context, on one hand leading savings into investments out of trade, on the other hand affecting international competitive edge negatively of local currencies appreciation result in current deficit increase. Whilst current deficit is rocketing, errors done in currency and exchange rate policies, decrease in economic growth, decrease in profit of firms and difficulties in credit payments get certain countries close to crisis.At mikro level, several different results have been faced ranging to firm deaths especially resulting from balance sheet deficiences. In this study an analysis related to media sector has been done in crisis. Finally changes in costs and the effects have been evaluated.
