International health tourism, economic, legal and evaluatin of administrative direction: Practice on Turkish hospitals

In this study; health tourism has been handled in all aspects. The study was examined in nine main sections and a comprehensive evaluation was made. In the first part; General information about the nature of "Introduction" given Health tourism and tourist health concepts are explained and the positive and negative aspects of health tourism are briefly mentioned. In the second part; A general literature search was made and compilations were made from domestic and foreign sources written in this subject. In the third part; The basic concepts of health tourism are addressed, and the main elements, advantages, disadvantages, economics, future potential, health tourism and general health issues such as the concepts of tourism health are discussed. In the fourth part; economic dimensions of health tourism have been discussed. EU, Central Asia, Middle East, Latin America, USA and African Countries, giving a wide range of information about health tourism. the situation of health tourism in our country has been discussed. In the five part; SWOT analysis using the Turkey's health tourism potential, our country in the field of health tourism organization, focused on the promotion tools and the main actors. In the sixth part; the legal dimension of the health tourism, which is not much studied, and the public policies that have been formed in this issue have been included. In the seventh section; the health-related tourism in Turkey last year statistics were discussed. A great majority of these data are taken with the written permission of the Ministry of Health, General Directorate of Health Development, Health Tourism Department and are important because they are the most up to date values in this area. In the eighth part; Turkey has put forward a comprehensive study on the potential for health. This part of the work lasted for 17 months and was carried out in a total of 5 provinces, especially in Istanbul and Antalya. Research in the field of health tourism in serving healthcare professionals and health service fields of international tourists reached their portrait in the field of health tourism in Turkey with surveys conducted with face to face interviews were attempted to be drawn verbatim. Finally, in the Conclusions and Recommendations section of the thesis study, the thesis has been completed by setting out the suggestions for the establishment of the health tourism policy, the determination of the priorities, the prevention of the risks, the establishment of the legal infrastructure and the database.
