Abstract (EN)

In this study, some trace elements (Cd, Pb, Cu and Zn) levels in the meat and shell tissues of Patella caerulea L.1758 and Osilinus turbinatus B., 1778 species on the shores of Urla-Iskele in the middle Gulf of Izmir (Aegean Sea) and In order to determine seasonal and species-dependent variations of trace elements, trace element content analyzes were performed in samples collected from 2 different stations and in laboratory using ICP-MS. According to the analyzes, zinc (Zn) amount was the highest and Cadmium (Cd) was the lowest value during the summer season for both species due to seasonal changes. There are different trace elements in meat and crust according to the seasons. The lowest wet weight of Patella caerulea was found to be 0.95 ppm in the spring, the highest value was 8.74 ppm in the summer, and the lowest Cu value in the shell tissues was 0.20 ppm, highest value was 5.97 ppm w.w. as measured. Zinc ratios were found to be 4.08 ppm w.w. to the lowest value in meat tissue in spring, 27.06 ppm w.w. to the highest value in summer and in the shell lowest value was 0.90 ppm w.w. in spring. The highest value of 19.0 ppm w.w. in summer as measured. The lowest values of cadmium concentrations in meat tissue were 0.17 ppm w.w. in winter and the highest value was 1.17 ppm w.w in summer. The lowest Cd value in shell tissues is 0.05 ppm w.w. in winter and the highest value is 0.86 ppm w.w in summer. The lowest values of lead values in meat tissue were 0.21 ppm w.w. in autumn and the highest value was 2.10 ppm w.w. in winter. The lowest Pb value of the shell samples was 0.20 ppm w.w. in winter and the highest value was 1.71 ppm w.w. in summer determined. The lowest value of copper in the meat tissue of Osilinus turbinatus was 5.35 ppm w.w. in winter and the highest value was 9.72 ppm w.w again in winter. It was measured as 0-10 cm in the summer and collected meat samples were not found. In crustal tissues, the lowest value was 0.86 ppm w.w. in spring and the highest value was 7.16 ppm w.w. in summer as measured. The lowest values of zinc values in meat tissue were 8.25 ppm w.w. in winter, the highest value was 19.56 ppm w.w. in spring, the value of shell tissues was 5.29 ppm w.w. and the highest value 16.57 ppm w.w. in summer it was determined. The lowest values of cadmium values in meat tissues were 0.03 ppm w.w. in winter and the highest value was 1.88 ppm w.w. in spring. In the shell samples, it was determined that the lowest Cd value was 0.29 ppm w.w. in winter and the highest Cd value was 0.98 ppm w.w. in summer. Finally, the lowest lead value in meat tissue is 1.03 ppm w.w. in winter and the highest value is 9.59 ppm w.w. in spring as measured. In shell samples, the lowest value was 2.09 ppm w.w. in winter and the highest value was 9.18 ppm w.w. in spring it was found as. As a result of the research, metal deposition levels; Patella caerulea L.1758 in the meat tissue; In Zn> Cu> Pb> Cd Shell Tissue; Zn> Cu> Pb> Cd Osilinus turbinatus B., 1778 in Meat Tissue; In Zn> Pb> Cu> Cd Shell Tissue; Zn> Pb> Cu> Cd.
