Determination of parasitoids of Dolycoris baccarum (L.) (Heteroptera: Pentatomidae)' s in overwintering and sowing areas of Uşak province and some biological studies

The main purpose of this study is to determine adult parasitoid (Tachinidae) species and their presence in adult of Dolycoris baccarum (L.) (Heteroptera: Pentatomidae) collected from overwintering areas and agricultural or non-agricultural areas of Uşak Center, Banaz, Sivaslı, Ulubey and Karahallı districts. In addition, some biological features of adult individuals; egg laying places, adult emergence times from pupae and the total number of eggs given by parasitized and non-parasitized D. baccarum female were determined. According to the findings, it was determined that the parasitism in the overwintering areas around the Uşak province were 19,4% in 2018 and 15,9% in 2019. In the agricultural and non-agricultural areas where the experiment was conducted, the rate of parasites was calculated as 16,5% in 2018 and 17,3% in 2019. Cylindromyia brassicaria (Fabricius) and Gymnosoma clavatum (Rohdendorf) (Diptera: Tachinidae) were identified as adult parasitoids of D. bacccarum in Uşak province. Cylindromyia brassicaria was the dominant species with 65,3% in the first year and also 70,7% in the second year. The average maturation period of C. brassicaria from the pupae was 14,8 ± 1,79 (11 - 17) (n = 26) days and for G. clavatum species 14,3 ± 1,40 (12 - 16) (n = 40) days. It was determined that parasitized D. baccarum females collected from overwintering areas gave no eggs and non-parasitized females gave 40,2 ± 19,84 (12 - 92) (n = 20) eggs on average.
