Abstract (EN)

The experiment was carried out in the almond garden, which was established on approximately 2,000 decares in the province of Uşak in 2019 and 2020. Almond trees aged 3, 4, and 5 in Ferraduel, Ferragnes, Nonpareil and Texas cultivars grafted on Garnem rootstocks, frost propeller placed at 5 different points in the trial for each cultivar (10 m, 20 m, 30 m, 40 m, 50 m, 60 m from the propeller circumference), 70 m, 80 m, 90 m, 100 m and later), by creating fog in the incinerators burned at approximately 100 different points (the distances around the fog pits are 2 m, 3 m, 4 m, 5 m, 6 m, 7 m, 8 m, 9 m, 10 m, 11 m and later) frost control methods; Comparisons were made between distances, between varieties, and according to years. In this study, the average number of flower buds, the fruit set ratio of flowers, dry rind yields, and unit fruit weights of cultivars were investigated. The results were interpreted by being subjected to statistical analysis. As a result of the study, it was statistically determined that the fog method was not successful in combating agricultural frost, and the frost-breaking propeller was successful at a certain distance, although it varies according to the distance and frost severity.
