Abstract (EN)

Physiological changes and different lifestyles are related to the general health and safety of the human being, the most important of which is the fertility factor. This study aimed to study the different biochemical components of seminal plasma in Anbar Governorate, which suffer from infertile males with oligospermia, and to know their association with the sperm CK enzyme. The number of patients subjected to this study was 80 patients with an average age of (20-50) years for both the group of patients with oligospermia and the control group. The study showed a significant increase in the level of CK enzyme in the group of patients with oligospermia compared to the control group (P=0.000). The study also showed that the level of monosaccharides for both fructose and mannose was significantly higher in the group of patients compared to the controls. While the study showed that the level of glucose sugar was unremarkably low in the group of patients compared to the controls. The body mass indices and age had a non-significant value, while the sperm count was very low in the patient's group compared to the control group. The results confirm that the causes of infertility and lack of sperm have many causes, whether they are acquired habits or changes in the reproductive system, and the necessity of conducting more studies to detect the causes of infertility.
